PETALING JAYA: LKL International Bhd, through its wholly owned subsidiary LKL Advance Metaltech Sdn Bhd, has signed a purchasing contract with German-based company TRUMPF Group to acquire a fully automated Computer Numeric Control (CNC) punching machine (TruPunch 2000) for €318,000 (RM1.44 million).

LKL Advance Metaltech is a company principally involved in the provision of medical/healthcare beds, peripherals, and accessories. TRUMPF Group is one of the world’s biggest provider of machine tools.

LKL will acquire the CNC machine, which will mainly be used for punching processes for steel sheets under the production line. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the machine is targeted to be delivered and installed within five to six months upon payment.
